12 For '12: Paula Patton Shines As An Actress, Mother And Wife

12 For '12: Paula Patton

Paula Patton is way more than just a pretty face. At age 36, she has taken the industry by storm not only as a talented actress but as a mother and wife.

After her big break alongside Denzel Washington in the 2006 film "Deja Vu," Patton caught the public's attention. She went on to shine in her role as a teacher and mentor to a troubled urban girl in the critically acclaimed "Precious: Based on the Novel Push by Sapphire," with Gabby Sidibe and comedian Monique. But that was just the beginning.

In the next two years, Patton enjoyed continued success on and off the big screen. In 2010, she and husband Robin Thicke welcomed their son Julian Fuego into the world. She called their little bundle of joy her good luck charm, after snagging her new role in "Mission Impossible--Ghost Protocol" a mere five months after giving birth.

In October 2011, the actress officially claimed her reputation as easy, breezy and beautiful when she was named the new Celebrity Brand Ambassador for COVERGIRL Queen Collection.

With a son coming up on his second birthday, a husband with a new album and a new movie raking in big bucks at the box office, there's no telling what Patton will conquer next in 2012.
