As New Hampshire voters prepare to go to the polls on Tuesday for the first 2012 primary, a handful of GOP hopefuls scrambled to lock down enough support to deny front-runner Mitt Romney an expected victory on Tuesday.

Romney, who came in first in the Iowa caucus by the narrowest of pluralities, has benefited from five rivals who continue to attack each other and divide the anti-Romney vote rather than produce a single strong alternative.
