Art Stage Singapore is an international art fair held annually in -- you guessed it -- Singapore. The second edition of Art Stage Singapore takes place at the Marina Bay Sands Convention and Exhibition Center from January 12 - 15. Under the direction of former Art Basel director Lorenzo Rudolf, over 100 galleries take part in the art fair this year.
Art Stage Singapore's concept is to separate itself from other art fairs in Asia by not copying a Western show, but providing art collectors and visitors a mix of contemporary Asian and Western art. Among the exhibitors are major galleries from Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Shanghai, Seoul, Beijing, Jakarta, Tokyo, Sydney, Taipei, Mumbai, as well as well-known dealers from Europe and the US such as Eigen + Art, White Cube, and Lehmann Maupin. Art Stage Singapore also features a lecture series, and various fringe programs. This video provides you with a tour through the fair on the opening day.
