Adam Brody Reportedly Signs On To 'Some Girls' And 'Welcome To The Jungle'

Adam Brody To Tackle 'Some Girls' And 'Welcome To The Jungle'

Whether or not Adam Brody's heyday was his role on "The O.C." remains to be seen: According to Variety, the actor is reportedly starring in Neil LaBute's film adaptation of "Some Girls" and the "Lord Of The Flies-like" movie "Welcome To The Jungle."

In "Some Girls," helmed by Jennifer Getzinger and co-written by Neil LaBute, Brody will play a writer who meets up with four ex-girlfriends before getting married; while he'll be stranded on a tropical island with co-workers Kristen Schaal and Jean-Claude Van Damme in "Welcome To The Jungle."

Brody is also starring in this year's Linda Lovelace biopic "Lovelace" alongside Amanda Seyfriend and James Franco, filming the comedy "Seeking A Friend For The End Of The World" with Steve Carell and Keira Knightly, and voicing a southern California teenager in MTV's animated series "Good Vibes."

"I actually looked like [Woodie]" Brody tells The Huffington Post of his role in "Good Vibes." "I'm not lying. I surfed every day when I was in high school, so my hair got blonde from the sun, and it was dirty from the water, so I had a blonde afro, just like Woodie."

Filming for "Welcome To The Jungle" will begin in February in Puerto Rico, while "Some Girls" is set to start shooting in April. For more on Brody, click over to Variety.
