Patricia Dolores Revealed: Meet San Francisco's Bird About Town (PHOTOS)

They say that life imitates art.

There's a lot of truth to that aphorism. Take the Tumblr blog of Patricia Dolores and Popi, for example. (h/t Uptown Almanac).

When the IFC sketch comedy show Portlandia decreed that anything could be improved by putting a bird on it, the sketch was a satire on the faux-creative pretensions of arty hipsters.

However, as the show made abundantly clear, they were only talking about pretend birds.

The San Francisco-based duo of Patricia and Popi have done them one better--they make things better putting an actual bird on them. In their undeniably adorable blog, the Popi (the human) takes Patricia (the parrot) all over the city, snapping photos of himself giving the bird to everyone from local celebs to the crowd at a San Francisco Giants game.

While, by all accounts, both Particia and Popi are both as friendly as can be, if you see them, exercise a bit of caution--Popi admits Patricia does have a tendency to bite.
