Best Athlete Tweets Of The Week (January 13th-19th)

Our latest edition of best athlete tweets of the week features thoughts from a bunch of our favorite athlete tweeters as well as some past winners. Luis Scola reflected on playing against his former team (for all of three hours) for the first time. And Rob Lowe, despite not being an athlete, still made our list thanks to his (questionably) groundbreaking scoop about Colts quarterback Peyton Manning retiring. If you break a story that takes the internet and Twittersphere by storm on absolutely no grounds and happened to star in the movie Wayne's World, you make our list.

As usual, we've scoured our timeline from the past week to bring you what we believe to be the best of the best that athletes have to offer via Twitter. Vote on which athlete you believe had this week's best tweet. The winner will be given remarkable Interweb cred and 140 characters worth of salutations via the @HuffPostSports Twitter account.

Best Athlete Tweets Of The Week

Last week's champion tweeter was numerous time nominee Tom Crabtree, who, like many, wouldn't mind a playoff being put in place in college football.

Give him a well-deserved follow @TCrabtree83 and vote on this week's nominees above.
