Andrej Pejic Perfume Campaign On The Way? (VIDEO)

WATCH: Andrej Pejic To Become Face Of 'Major Perfume Brand'?

He's landed magazine covers, walked the Paris runways and posed for a lingerie campaign. What's the next step for Andrej Pejic's modeling career?

Fronting a fragrance campaign, of course.

According to Fashionista, the famously androgynous male model recently filmed a segment for France's Sept a Huit. Frockwriter did a bit of translating and caught this juicy tidbit, spoken by the show's anchor: "He will sign a contract to be the face of a major perfume brand in several weeks."

First of all: wheeee! We're huge Andrej fans and whatever campaign he shoots will surely be glamorous and gorgeous. Secondly, which "major" brand will be signing him?

Based on Pejic's previous work, Jean Paul Gaultier would be the natural choice: the French designer has chosen Andrej for multiple runways, putting him in both menswear and womenswear, and paired him with Karolina Kurkova for his Spring 2011 ad campaign.

But considering Andrej's growing mainstream appeal, we'd like to think any high-end brand, not just his early champions, would give him a shot.

Regardless of who offers him a contract, it will a big step for Andrej's modeling career, given how few models snag fragrance campaigns in this age of celebrity endorsements.

Check out Andrej's entire Sept a Huit segment below (including the perfume campaign mention at 10:42) to see Andrej Skype with his family, endure runway rehearsals, wait for a seriously slow baggage carousel and do other normal model-y things.
