New York Fashion Week 2012: Donna Karan Fall 2012 (PHOTOS)

Who Was There: Ashley Greene, Emmy Rossum, Rose McGowan, Adriana Lima, Rachel Zoe.

The Skinny: On her show notes, Donna Karan posed the question, "How do you define a woman?" If Karan's fall 2012 collection is any indication, she's both masculine and feminine. Sharp menswear in the form of pinstripe suits and cuffs were paired with womanly pieces like body suits, form-fitting dresses and evening gowns that were accessorized by statement hats. This was after a short showing of Karan's Casual Luxe line that included motorcycle jackets, stadium blankets and turtlenecks. But Marlene Dietrich-esque's powerful woman was the point. That was especially clear when Karan blasted Whitney Houston's "I'm Every Woman" on the loudspeakers during the finale.
