Tibet House Benefit: 22nd Annual Concert Features Philip Glass, Lou Reed, Das Racist, Rahzel And More (PHOTOS)

The Tibet House offered yet another incredible lineup for its 22nd annual benefit concert concert at Carnegie Hall Monday night. Philip Glass, who curates the event each year, performed briefly alongside Lou Reed, Antony, Laurie Anderson, James Blake, Stephin Merritt, Das Racist, Rahzel and Dechen Shak-Dagsay.

If the concert showed anything, it was that all forms of culture have their place, even at Carnegie Hall. The performances ranged from classical, rap and electronic music to spoken word, rock and beatboxing. Highlights included Rahzel's inhumanely good imitation of a robot, Das Racist doing what everyone really wants to see at Carnegie Hall -- somersaults and pelvic grinds -- James Blake drowning us in synth sounds, and Stephin Merritt sounding exactly like Stephin Merritt.

The evening was bookended by husband and wife Lou Reed and Laurie Anderson -- Anderson warmed up the audience with spoken word, and Reed closed out with a Velvet Underground classic, "Beginning to See the Light."
