Last night marked the Season 2 finale of the hit PBS series Downton Abbey. In case you have been living under a rock, Downton Abbey is the new big thing in television. Dare I say, it may be close to reaching Mad Men-type popularity. According to The Daily Beast, Downton Abbey has made PBS cool again, as well as chivalry, politeness, culture, tuxedos all the time, the Spanish Plague and Maggie Smith (not that she was ever not cool.) "Not since Ken Burns's The Civil War documentary, which aired in 1990, has PBS been at the center of national cultural conversation as it is now."
