Megan Fox Claims: 'I Was Never The Pretty Girl'

Megan Fox Tries To Be Relatable

We'd like to take a moment to tell gorgeous starlets everywhere that there is a difference between feeling as if you weren't pretty growing up and actually having been lacking in the looks department.

"I was never the pretty girl," Megan Fox claims in Miami magazine's March issue -- despite the fact that we've seen photos of Fox as a teen. We have to say, her claims are rating pretty high on our BS meter.

The 25-year-old describes her teenage self as "abrasive" and "obnoxious." She says she was known to dye her hair orange and often felt picked on and ostracized.

If it seems as if every actress in Hollywood was bullied, awkward, an outsider or a self-described nerd, it's because they all claim to have been. No one makes it out of high school without being teased for something, but the move to make some of the world's most beautiful women a little more relatable is beyond tired.

Despite her status as one of Hollywood's hottest actresses, Fox seems hell-bent on convincing everyone that she's not as conventional as she looks. "I'm the biggest nerd -- I love comic books and stuff like that!" she told FHM when she was promoting the second "Transformers" movie in 2008.
