The February employment report comes out this week, and economists are hoping for more good news on the job front. In January, the unemployment rate fell to 8.3 percent. The picture also improved for people age 55 or older: Unemployment in this demographic fell to 5.9 percent from 6.2 percent in December -- the first time it has been below 6 percent since February 2009.
