Marilyn Monroe once said, "The body is meant to be seen, not all covered up." And that's exactly what blogger Beth Jones of B. Jones Style had in mind when she decided to explore the screen legend's oft-imitated style in her latest series, My Week With Marilyn.
Not only does Beth share Monroe's blonde tresses, she's also a woman that dresses for her shape -- belted frocks, cropped denim and structured blazers all flaunt her figure. Beth channeled the famous actress in sexy sheaths and sky-high stilettos, but left the Spanx at home. Why? Because Monroe embraced her imperfections.
And what Marilyn transformation would be complete without her famous 'do and makeup? With an arsenal of hairspray and false eyelashes, Beth was able to believably emulate Monroe's signature style without looking like a Halloween costume.
