'Awake' Episode 2 Exclusive: Watch The First Minute Of The NBC Drama's Second Episode (VIDEO)

'Awake' Sneak Peek: Michael's Realities Continue To Overlap

Did you catch the premiere of "Awake"? Arguably the most ambitious TV series in a long time, it's definitely a network drama worth watching. (If you missed the premiere, you can still watch it here.)

We've got the exclusive first look at the opening scenes from the show's second episode, titled "The Little Guy" (Thurs., Mar. 8, 10 p.m. EST on NBC). This episode delves even deeper into the show's dual-reality premise. We'll find out more about how both realities interact with one another and about the man, Michael Britten (Jason Isaacs), living in both of them.

Cases begin overlapping a bit more, and Michael gets helpful little life clues as well (i.e. he needs to be using fabric softener in the laundry!), while his therapists become more intrigued with his case. Here, Dr. Evans (Cherry Jones) marvels at his ability to borrow from a "dream" to figure things out in "reality," telling him that this kind of dream awareness has been sought after for ages.

But what caused the accident that started this split reality? You'll have to wait until this episode's controversial last few minutes to get more insight into why and how Britten has found himself living these lives -- the show's biggest mystery. For now, watch the opening scene and tell us: What do you think of "Awake"? And which reality do you think is real?
