'Caged' Fighters Get Word That Tito Ortiz Is Scouting For Talented Amateurs (VIDEO)

Will Tito Ortiz Sign The 'Caged' Fighters?

On "Caged" (Mon., 11 p.m. EST on MTV) the Minden fighters, all now training under the team name "Louisiana Fight Company," got word that former UFC world champion Tito Ortiz was coming to Minden to scout for talented amateur fighters.

The chance to sign and train with Ortiz would be huge for these young fighters, most of whom took up cage fighting purely as a way to make a better life for themselves.

Trainer Christian Fulgium told the fighters that Ortiz was looking to sign amateurs to take back and train up with him at Team Punishment in California.

"You might be able to do something a lot of people haven't done in this town," he said. "Get outta here and go somewhere bigger."

Fulgium added that this could be a one-time only chance for the guys since there was no guarantee Ortiz would ever be back.

A delighted Tony said, "I'm so super-excited. ... This is my opportunity to shine." But Danger, on the other hand, seemed nervous, and he thought it was unfair that everything would rest on just one fight.

Will one or more of the Minden fighters get a shot at a pro career with Team Punishment? Stay tuned for more "Caged," Monday nights at 11 p.m. EST on MTV.
