Miami Weekend Guide: Elton John, Jacuzzi Boys, Henry Rollins, Calle Ocho, And John Leguizamo

Weekend Guide: Good Times From Henry Rollins To Elton John

Feel that shake early Friday morning? Could have been that nasty solar storm quaking Earth's magnetic field. Or maybe it was just the South Beach clubs revving up their sub-woofers for weekend parties.

Although the humidity is rising, Miami's weekend scene is just as flushed as it is in early winter.

There's a gigante street festival, a notorious art walk, and real divas onstage at the Fillmore, Revolution, and BankAtlantic Center.

Here are HuffPost Miami's picks for what to do this weekend:Elton JohnFriday, 8 p.m.BankAtlantic CenterTickets: $32 to $137Lady Gaga muse, Elton John, will play BankAtlantic Center Friday night. See why he's sold more than 250 million albums and won six Grammys, an Oscar, a Tony and a Golden Globe.

Henry RollinsFriday, 7 p.m.RevolutionTickets: $25Former frontman for hardcore band Black Flag, Rollins has been showing off his wit, intellect, and storytelling as a spoken word artist for the past few decades years. Friday night he'll touch on topics from ladies to fame to travel to the otherwise crappy state of affairs: "I’m not here to bash America, quite the opposite. But as far as the world, we are like number 46 or 48th in literacy. I don’t understand why that is. We’re like this amazing, industrialized country that gave the world the Internet. We’re incredible. Why is any country beating us in literacy?"
