Man Commits Suicide By Jumping From Aventura Mall Parking Garage

A man committed suicide by jumping from an Aventura Mall parking garage, NBC Miami reports.

A woman walking to her car around 1:30 a.m. Monday morning saw a body in the roadway by Bloomingdale's and called 911. When police reviewed surveillance cameras, they concluded he had committed suicide by jumping from the mall’s parking garage. He had a wound to the back of his head.

The man has not been identified, as he did not have any personal belongings on him, Aventura Police Major Skip Washa told the Miami Herald.

Four days ago, another man jumped from the same parking garage to escape Bloomingdale's loss prevention staff and died from a head injury.
