As Detroiters brace for a significant reduction in city services, one resource may be enhanced -- the Family Aquatic Center at Chandler Park on the east side.
Less than a month after Wayne County commissioners approved a plan to keep the county-operated park open for another five years, some county officials are hoping to forge a deal with the city to improve all of the 84-acre Chandler Park, including the golf course, hiking trails and other green space.
