Erin Burnett Calls Out RNC For Featuring Her In Campaign Ad (VIDEO)

WATCH: CNN Host Calls Out Republicans For Featuring Her In Ad

CNN's Erin Burnett took aim on her Monday show at a Republican ad that used her to criticize the Democratic party.

The ad, called "Obama's War On Women," features a clip of Burnett talking to the president's campaign chief David Axelrod about comedian Bill Maher's $1 million donation to the Obama Super PAC. Maher has come under fire for controversial comments about Sarah Palin, which Republicans have been eager to equate with Rush Limbaugh's attacks on law student Sandra Fluke.

Burnett said she was not pleased to find herself in a partisan ad.

To be honest, at first I was kind of amused I was included," she said. "Then I was annoyed. I certainly don't agree that Democrats are in a war on women."

But she said that both parties should do more to scrub out "vile" comments by their supporters, and that the "war on women" talk should stop.

"Let's end this talk about a war on women and name calling, and instead have substantive conversations about the real issues, like women's pay and reproductive rights," she said.
