Martina Navratilova Eliminated From 'Dancing With The Stars' (VIDEO)

The First 'DWTS' Casualty Is...

After failing to impress the judges -- and the viewers at home -- Martina Navratilova was the first celebrity contestant eliminated from Season 14 of "Dancing With the Stars."

She and professional partner Tony Dovolani earned the lowest scores of the week, with their jive only managing to get a 17 from the judges. Navratilova, an accomplished athlete, couldn't manage to find her rhythm on the dance floor, as she lost her footwork multiple times throughout her routine. Head judge Len Goodman gave the tennis champ a five for being “too neat ... a little bit careful."

As the audience rose to their feet after the eliminated contestant was revealed, Navratilova said, "It was an amazing experience, but I blew it yesterday and it cost me unfortunately."

Joining Navratilova at the bottom of the leaderboard were Disney Channel star Roshon Fegan, despite the fact that he putt a smile on Goodman's face, and singer/songwriter Gavin DeGraw, who earned a 21 from the judges, but also, the recognition for improving since the first week.

Surprisingly, despite the fact that "Little House on the Prairie" star Melissa Gilbert's nerves got in the way of her moves and music legend Gladys Knight earned a five from Len Goodman for her sloppy quickstep posture, they were the first two saved.

When fan favorite Sherri Shepherd found out she too was safe, "The View" co-host danced herself off the stage. Luckily, she wasn't up for elimination because she warned co-host Brooke Burke that they'd need to get a restraining order to get her to go.

And of course, "Dancing With the Stars" frontrunner Katherine Jenkins -- and her "naughty bits" -- live to dance another day.

Do you think the right star went home tonight on "Dancing With the Stars?" Let us know in the comments.
