WATCH: 'Morning Joe' Mocks Contributor's Fashion Faux Pas

MSNBC contributor Donny Deutsch committed a major fashion pas on Thursday's "Morning Joe," according to the rest of the panel.

Before diving into the day's headlines, co-hosts Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough took aim at Deutsch's sartorial choices. The MSNBC contributor showed up to the show in a preppy blazer that Scarborough said was reminiscent of "Dynasty," and glasses that Willie Geist said reminded him of "Elton John." Brzezinski said that he looked like he just stepped off a yacht and was headed for the country club. "In 1982," Scarborough added.

Deutsch said that viewers discussed his outfits online, and that he didn't want to disappoint his fans. "I'm a proud member of the tribe," he said, jokingly referring to historically anti-Semitic country clubs. "I just like to be kind of all-inclusive in my fashion statements."

Scarborough continued to press him on whether he was wearing socks, and the two gave viewers a fashion show starring their ankles.
