30 Peeps Scarfed Down In 35-Second Video Of Competitive Eater

WATCH: Dude Eats Tons Of Peeps In 35 Seconds

How many Peeps could you eat in 35 seconds? Even if you're a fan of the marshmallowey Easter treats -- and not everyone is -- you might be understandably daunted by the air-puffed volume of a Peep. Or its granulated sugar coating, which might feel sandpapery going down your throat at top speed. So in 35 seconds? Maybe eight Peeps. Ten, tops.

That's what keeps us from being champion's. When Paul "Deep Dish" Bertoletti, the world's second-ranked competitive eater, was challenged to eat a great deal of Peeps in 35 seconds, by a writer at HuffPost Food friend Food Republic, he didn't blink.

Instead, he just cut open six five-packs of Peeps, turned on his video camera and started eating. You can see the impressive results above.

Don't try this at home, folks. Overzealous marshmallow eating can be seriously dangerous.
