Prime Meats Recreating Titanic 'First Class' Menu For Anniversary

The 100th anniversary commemorating the sinking of the Titanic is nearly upon us, and the duo behind Prime Meats is paying homage by recreating the exact menu served for the lucky (or not so lucky) first class passengers who once dined in the halls of the doomed vesel.

Eater reports Frank Falcinelli and Frank Castronovo of Prime Meats will prepare an epic 10-course meal, which will include refined, very English items like Rack of Lamb with Mushy Peas and Pomme Puree, Waldorf Pudding, and Watercress Vichyssoise. For the rest of the historic menu, click here.

Prime Meats details the $115 per person fete of a century:

100 years ago the "unsinkable" White Star Liner Titanic disappeared into the sea, carrying over 1500 ladies and gentlemen to the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean. Along their fateful journey, the passengers of the Titanic enjoyed the finest food and drink available in their time; and we will be commemorating the notorious voyage with a special 10-course dinner featuring the very same menu served on the Titanic in First Class. Come participate in an elegant evening of dinner and revelry and enjoy The First Class menu of classical dishes at Prime Meats. We will be pairing the menu with excellent wines, cocktails and spirits.

Dinner is served on April 15th. Black Tie preferred!
