'I Survived': Pat Believes Guardian Angels Saved Him After A Farming Accident (VIDEO)

Pat took center stage on the latest installment of "I Survived" (Sun., 9 p.m. ET on Biography) with a harrowing tale of a combine accident when he was alone working on his farm. He got tangled up in the machine, which cost him his hand, and nearly his life.

But Pat is convinced that it was through prayer and the grace of God that he survived the ordeal. "It felt like I had hands pulling on both of my shoulders," he said. "I couldn’t turn around to see if anyone was there or not but I know that there was someone there."

After losing his hand, Pat used what remained of his arm as leverage to pull himself free, but remains convinced that without the intervention of some guardian angels, he would surely have perished then and there.
