'What's Cookin?': Food Raps About Food (VIDEO)

Food Raps About Food

What better way to celebrate rappers rapping about food than have the food itself lip-sync the rhymes? In "What's Cookin?" burgers, ice cream cakes and lemons sing along to famous rap songs that double as odes to food.

The stop motion film is a quirky tribute to the many bacon and lemonade loving rap songs, like The Notorious B.I.G.'s "The Wickedest" and GangStarr's "DWYCK." There are even some shout outs to condiments, like an arugula-clad sandwich rapping Method Man's "N.Y.C. Everything" with the line, "Like my sandwich ain't a sandwich without Miracle Whip."

The film was produced by BankShot with music by DJ Nick Castle. It's clever, cute and just takes a quick minute to be schooled on food in raps.
