'American Chopper': Mikey Teutul Considers Quitting The Show (VIDEO)

Mikey Teutul Quitting 'American Chopper'?

Living their lives on reality TV has caused the Teutul family some serious family tumult over the past few years. Now, one of the brothers has had enough of the drama, and is considering quitting "American Chopper: Senior Vs. Junior." On tonight's episode, Mikey Teutul debates leaving the show in order to repair his relationship with his father.

In this exclusive clip, Mikey explains to Vinny that he believes the reality TV cameras will prevent him from reconciling with his dad. "I was thinking about quitting the show ... My relationship with my father won't get any better unless it's sort of off-the radar, off the television show, and not really highlighted ... Aside from I think maybe it's time to move on," he says.

Later, Mikey reveals that the move is something he's been thinking about since his brother Paul Jr. broke away from the family's original Orange County Choppers shop and started Paul Jr. Designs. Mikey hasn't yet told his brother, but admits that, "I've always talked to him through the years about this stuff. Like when we had that divide with OCC, I wanted to jump ship then."

Check out more of Mikey's decision when "American Chopper: Senior Vs. Junior" airs Monday nights at 9 p.m. ET on Discovery.
