Zombies Walk To Raise Money For Cleveland Food Bank In Lakewood, Ohio

Really Nice Zombies Walk For A Good Cause

Over the weekend, hundreds of zombies hit the streets of Lakewood, Ohio, for the bi-annual Zombie Walk, Patch.com reports.

These members of the undead, however, were thankfully not of the usual bloodthirsty variety.

Instead, these zombie participants were walking to raise money for the Cleveland Food Bank.

Event organizer Joe Ostrica said that last year's zombies helped raise 1,769 pounds of food.

"Every April and September, for one Saturday afternoon, the streets of Lakewood will witness a massive zombie outbreak, all in the name of a good cause," Ostrica told Patch.com.
