'Guys With Kids': NBC Orders Jimmy Fallon-Produced Comedy To Series

NBC Picks Up Unfit Father Comedy

"Guys With Kids," a Jimmy Fallon-produced comedy, has joined NBC's new programming slate for the 2012-2013 season, according to Variety.

Fallon is an executive producer on the series along with Amy Ozois and Charlie Grandy. Anthony Anderson, Jesse Bradford, Tempestt Bledsoe and Jamie-Lynn Sigler star in the comedy about a group of thirtysomething dads who don't feel quite mature enough to raise kids. The Hollywood Reporter confirmed the "Guys With Kids" series order.

"Guys With Kids" is a multi-camera sitcom, but NBC's other new comedies are primarily single camera. The Peacock network recently gave series orders to a comedy about a "House"-like vet (Justin Kirk), "Go On" starring Matthew Perry, Anne Heche's "Save Me," the Ryan Murphy-produced "The New Normal" and White House comedy "1600 Penn." On the drama side, "Revolution," from J.J. Abrams and Eric Kripke, received a series order, as did Bryan Fuller's "Hannibal" and Dick Wolf's "Chicago Fire."

"Smash," "Law & Order: SVU" and "Grimm" will return and veteran NBC comedies "30 Rock," "Parks and Recreation" and "Community" are rumored to be getting shortened seasons.
