David Beckham Goal: Free Kick Vs Montreal Impact Shows Galaxy Star Can Still Bend It (VIDEO)

WATCH: Beckham Can Still Bend It

Even at age 37, even playing for an L.A. Galaxy side stranded in the lower half of the standings in the MLS' Western Conference, David Beckham can still bend it with the best of them.

On Saturday night, the English icon scored yet another stunning goal from a set piece. The strike came in the 62nd minute of the Galaxy's visit to Montreal. On a night when the Los Angeles offense again seemed toothless, Beckham's free kick goal provided the only score for the road team, earning a 1-1 draw with the Impact, an expansion team.

"Donovan [Ricketts] is such a talented goalkeeper," Beckham told reporters after the match. "With the free kick, I knew I had to put it pretty precise to beat him."

Although the defending champion Galaxy are sputtering out of the gate, the former England captain has notched both his goals in style. His first goal of the season was another beautiful long-range strike against the Portland Timbers.
