$1 Million Parking Space At 66 East 11th Street For Sale

Buy This $1 Million Parking Space

You know $1 million in the world of Manhattan real estate is mere chump change when all it gets you these days is a spot to park your car.

In one of the more ostentatious displays of wealth we've seen in some time The New York Post reports a residence at 66 E. 11th Street is selling the city's first $1 million parking space for anyone in the one percent bracket desperately seeking "complete privacy."

The garage is described to be 12 feet wide, 23 feet long and more than 15 feet high and even have the ability to be duplexed in order to accommodate an elevator, if the buyer were to desire so.

"You can drive in and not be seen again," explained Prudential Douglas Elliman Vice Chairman Dolly Lenz. Read more at The Post.

In similar news, a mystery buyer recently purchased a colossal $90 million duplex penthouse across from Carnegie Hall.

So what's harder to grasp? Shelling out for the record-setting penthouse or paying much less to make sure no one catches you getting in and out of your precious ride? At least with the penthouse you get some fancy views of Central Park.
