Blake Griffin Tooth Injury: Clippers Star Needs Stitches Above Lip After Collision With Manu Ginobili (VIDEO)

Blake Griffin Needs Stitches After Collision

Blake Griffin suffered a nasty injury late in the first half of Game 4 against the Spurs when he collided with San Antonio's Manu Ginobili. The Clippers' dunking machine went after a loose ball, but fell to the ground after Ginobili's shoulder hit him in the mouth.

Griffin got up with a wound on his face and Los Angeles coach Vinny Del Negro told referee Joey Crawford that his All-Star forward's tooth went through his lip.

Griffin, who had already been playing with a sprained right knee, went to the locker room before the half ended and reportedly received two stitches inside his mouth and two more stitches outside his mouth.

The 23-year-old returned in the second half with a bandaged up lip -- proof that he didn't flop on the play -- and finished the game with 21 points and five rebounds. But the Spurs rallied in the fourth quarter and won 102-99, completing the sweep and ending Lob City's season.
