NYC Summer Festivals 2012: Governor's Ball, Northside, CBGB To Take Over City

With summer approaching fast, newly announced concert lineups, official festivals, and plenty of outdoor movie screenings are quickly taking over our calendars for what will be an awesome season of sun-soaked music and culture.

Keeping track of all the scheduled dates has been a bit of a pain, so here's a nifty breakdown of what's to come in the coming weeks including details on Governor's Ball (Beck! Modest Mouse!), the Bryant Park Summer Film Series and the brand new (and apparently time-travelling) LACOSTE L!VE Williamsburg Park Concert series, which will see both Cake and Sublime at the waterfront.

We'll be adding more to-do's as they trickle in throughout the season, so make sure to revisit!
