Blake Griffin NBA Jam Dunk Video: Clippers Highlights Remixed With Sounds, Effects From Video Game

WATCH: Blake Griffin's 'NBA Jam' Dunk Remix

Blake Griffin's explosive dunks are so epic that they've spawned their own verbiage. When the 2011 NBA Slam Dunk Contest winner rose up and threw down over Kendrick Perkins earlier this season, Clippers announcer Ralph Lawler gushed in response, "[It's] almost a Mozgov!" His broadcast partner Michael Smith shouted in response: "It's better than a Mozgov! I didn't think it was possible to top him."

Lawler and Smith were, of course, referencing Griffin's epic slam over Timofey Mozgov during the 2010-11 season. A few months after Perkins got Mozgov'd, Griffin went right ahead and Perk'd Pau Gasol during a heated intra-city battle with the Lakers.

With Griffin's high-flying already generating their own catch phrases, it would seem like there wouldn't be much else that could be done to make his highlight reel even more impressive. The guy has, after all, already dunked over a car. Well, the folks at SBNation may have found a way. They've combined clips of Griffin's most impressive dunks with the sights and sounds from the video game "NBA Jam."

The Chris Paul and Griffin pairing certainly looks like it would hold it's own against the Ewing/Stark duo back from the days when this game was a must-have for anyone with a Sega Genesis game system.
