Los Angeles Coliseum Hosts Porn Shoot: REPORT

REPORT: Porn Filme At L.A. Coliseum

In order to honor the impressive history of the venue, the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum has something called the "Memorial Court Of Honor" that includes plaques dedicated to "outstanding persons or events, athletic or otherwise, that have had a definite impact upon the history, glory and growth of the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum." While Knute Rockne, Vin Scully and even the "Rams 70th Reunion" are commemorated with plaques, the list on the Coliseum's website makes no mention of the producers or stars of "The Gangbang Girl #32." Would they be eligible under the "or otherwise" wording in the description?

On Wednesday, the L.A. Times reported that this porn film was shot at the famous venue back in 2001.

The current home stadium for USC football, the Coliseum is registered as a national historic landmark and has hosted historic sporting events including the 1932 and '84 Olympics, the 1959 World Series and the first-ever championship game between the NFL and the AFL in 1967. That last event would later be known as the Super Bowl.

Aside from hosting so many big ticket sporting events and reportedly the shoot for this porn film, the Coliseum has been the set for several other sports movie shoots, including The Last Boy Scout and Jerry Maguire.

LOS ANGELES — The Times said Wednesday that the filming of 40 minutes of group sex on the field was done at night using stadium lights, which typically requires high-level approval.

The Coliseum is run by the city, county and state but no one contacted by the Times knew who gave permission to shoot.

Credits say the movie was produced on Sept. 16, 2001, during the football season, although USC didn't use the field that weekend.

The movie's star told the Times he's been making movies for 20 years but that one was memorable because of the location.
