Annie The Psychic Anteater Predicts Stanley Cup Final Winner (VIDEO)

WATCH: Psychic Anteater Predicts NHL Stanley Cup Winner

The whole animal psychics making sports predictions thing really went mainstream during the 2010 World Cup when Paul, the octopus correctly predicted the outcome of eight matches. Nearly two years later, it seems that no big event can occur without some sort of visionary vertebrate (or invertebrate in Paul's case). The world has since been introduced to Citta, an elephant from Poland making predictions for the Euro 2012 championship.

Now it's time to meet Annie, a "psychic" anteater hailing from Paramus, N.J., who has used her "powers" to predict the winner of the 2012 Stanley Cup Final.

When presented with two bowls of food -- one branded with the Devils' logo, the other the Kings' -- Annie springs for the bowl that represents her prediction, and it looks as if her psychic abilities override any hometown bias.

That's right Kings fans, Annie chose the eighth-seeded Western Conference champions to take the Cup back to Los Angeles.

Perhaps something can be said for her blatant disregard of the Devils' bowl, which hardly received a glance from Annie as she made her prediction for the West. Is another sweep in the cards for the Kings? With Game 1 already in L.A.'s hands, the idea may just be food for thought.
