'Wreck-It Ralph' Trailer: 'Toy Story 4'? (VIDEO)

WATCH: 'Wreck-It Ralph' Looks Awfully Familiar

"Wreck-It Ralph" isn't a Pixar movie, but you'd be forgiven for thinking otherwise.

First, there's the premise: the villain in a "Donkey Kong"-style video game (voiced by John C. Reilly) interacts with video game characters of yore in his quest to become a real hero. Then, the production crew: "Toy Story" director John Lasseter is the executive producer. "Wreck-It Ralph" could very well be "Toy Story 4."

Which means you should get excited. Despite the lack of Pixar's stamp of approval, "Wreck-It Ralph" (produced by Disney) looks like the type of fun, heartfelt and pop-culture infused comedy that the animation giant would be proud to add to its library of beloved hits. Plus, what other 2012 movie is going to feature cameo appearances from Q*Bert, Bowser from "Super Mario Bros." and a "Pac-Man" ghost?

Watch the trailer above. Featuring the voices of Reilly, Sarah Silverman, Jack McBrayer and Jane Lynce, "Wreck-It Ralph" is in theaters on Nov. 2.
