'Pitch Perfect' Trailer: Anna Kendrick Sings In The Shower (VIDEO)

Who said a cappella wasn't cool? The trailer for "Pitch Perfect" looks like it might be able to fill the void in your "Bring It On"-loving hearts.

Directed by "Avenue Q's" Jason Moore, "Pitch Perfect" stars Anna Kendrick as a girl who half-heartedly joins her college a cappella group, led by Brittany Snow. Kendrick helps the group up their vocal game in an effort to try and achieve total a cappella domination. That, of course, involves Blackstreet's "No Diggity."

This isn't the first time Kendrick has demonstrated her vocal abilities. In 2003, the Oscar-nominated actress starred in the independent musical movie "Camp," where she performed "Ladies Who Lunch" from the musical "Company" in one of the film's most memorable scenes.

The new film also stars funny girl Rebel Wilson ("Bridesmaids"), Anna Camp, Skylar Astin and "Workaholics" star Adam DeVine. "Pitch Perfect" hits theaters on October 5.
