Sigur Ros Mystery Film Experiment Asks You To Participate (VIDEO)

Sigur Ros' Mystery Film Experiment has so far yielded a guide to the Heimlich and a naked Shia LaBeouf playing with butterflies, in between two perfectly nice music videos. Normally we wouldn't dare dream of more twists and turns, but the Power of Social Media is being Harnessed, and you know what that means. Lots of twists and turns.

The latest twist turns the tables (see how we did that?). On you! Yesterday the Icelandic foursome invited the general public to submit a video to join the mystery film pantheon. The challenge is the same as for everyone involved in the Experiment: to create a music video using a standard budget, inspired by and set to a track off the band's latest album, Valtari.

Submissions are due September 10, and the winner will be eligible for the $5000 grand prize, as well as a people's choice award. What this means is, you could be judged against the lethal combination of famous people + no clothes + taxidermied butterflies. Are you up for it? If so, head to the band's Facebook page for more details, and check out the two mystery-est mystery films thus far below.
