Denis Leary knows what he wants, and he's proud of it. And if you don't like that, you can kiss his ass.

In fact, Leary is so emphatic about this, he's recorded a new song inviting you to do just that. HuffPost Comedy is happy to debut Leary's new single, "Kiss My Ass," a swingin' tribute to the fact that Leary couldn't care less what you think.

In the single, Leary is backed up by his band The Enablers, which features the all-female Rehab Horns.

Much in the same vein as Leary's surprise 1993 hit "Asshole," Leary plays the part of the indulgent-and-proud-of-it American alpha male. Fans of his comedy and acting will find no surprise in the song's thesis: "The world's a fuckin' mess / And I could not care less / 'Cause I'll be on my sofa playin' Wii," Leary croons.

"The National Anthem is a truly great song,” he explains in a statement. “But it’s really really hard to sing and it’s not that funny. I wanted to create an alternative anthem that makes you tap your feet and has the word 'ass' in the title."

And that he has done. Be sure to watch for the video for the song, which will debut on Funny Or Die on July 2. It will also be available for download on iTunes on the same day.
