'America's Got Talent': Howard And Howie Argue Over Big Barry, Judging Philosophy (VIDEO)

'AGT': Howard And Howie Fight Over Big Barry

Howie Mandel has always approached his judging role with a sense of whimsy on "America's Got Talent" (Tue., 8 p.m. ET on NBC). Sometimes, he goes for the acts that entertain him -- for all the wrong reasons -- over acts that are clearly more talented.

It used to drive Piers Morgan crazy, and it looks like it's having the same effect on new judge Howard Stern. Big Barry is one of those acts; a karaoke singer who lacks in vocal ability but still charms Howie's socks off. Sharon Osbourne and Howard quickly buzzed him, and then Howard chastised Howie for continuing to champion Barry.

"This is about Howie and how he treats the show," Howard said. "This is about the apology you owe to all the people who could’ve gotten through instead of Big Barry."

The arguing continued throughout the hour, which was a bit much for Digital Spy, but Buddy TV was glad to see Howard speaking out against Howie.

The bickering will likely go on as "America's Got Talent" continues Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET and Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET on NBC.
