Customer Sues McDonald's After Worker Allegedly Unleashes Anti-Gay Rant And Assault

When Ryan Snyder and his three friends and brother put in their order at the drive-thru at a McDonald's in Orlando, Fla., they weren't given a receipt or change. So he and his friends alerted the attendant, Kristy Perez. They were stunned when she allegedly responded with an anti-gay rant against her coworker.

"That stupid faggot doesn't know how to do his job," Perez allegedly said, according to a lawsuit filed by Snyder after the December 2010 incident (via South Florida Gay News). "He just came out of the closet."

After Snyder, who is gay, told her he found the remark offensive, he claims Perez became irate, ultimately assaulting him, part of which was caught on video. On June 26, Perez, who pled no contest, was sentenced to 100 hours of community service and three years probation in connection with the incident.
