'Haunted Collector': Historic Rectory In Ohio

On the latest episode of "Haunted Collector" (Wed., 9 p.m. ET on Syfy) the team traveled to Ohio to investigate a historic rectory in Sedamsville.

The Midwest Preservation Society had been trying to restore the building but frightened volunteers had been scared off by supposedly paranormal activity.

Several people had reported being bitten or scratched by spirits in the house.

The team found cages and other dog-fighting paraphernalia in the basement of the rectory. After they removed a "break stick," which is used to pry open the jaws of fighting dogs, all paranormal activity in the building reportedly ceased and the restoration work could be continued.

The ghost-hunting continues on "Haunted Collector," Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Syfy.

CORRECTION: A previous version of this post incorrectly referred to the rectory as the Northwest Preservation Society. It has been updated to include its correct name, The Midwest Preservation Society.
