Katie Holmes Wears Tight Leather Pants In New York (PHOTOS)

Since initiating what's sure to be one of the most famous divorces in history, from Tom Cruise, a couple weeks ago, Katie Holmes has found solace in the streets of New York, taking the couple's 6-year-old daughter Suri Cruise around town to the Central Park Zoo, a Soho children's museum and numerous excursions to Whole Foods.

But on Wednesday night, Holmes took a night off from the doting mom thing and hit the Manhattan town for dinner with a friend (flanked by several bodyguards, of course).

Though she's been favoring simple outfits and that ubiquitous ponytail when stepping out with Suri, we're loving that Katie finally dressed the part of a sexy newly single girl. Check out those leather pants! With her dark locks pulled back, Holmes, 33, paired the pants with a cream colored shirt and a blazer in a similar shade.

But here's our favorite part about the outfit: Kim Kardashian and Kanye West wore the same thing yesterday. Maybe Katie can make some new friends?
