Maria Bamford Gets Animated, Recounts Her Worst Radio Appearance Ever (VIDEO)

WATCH: Maria Bamford Wishes She Could Go Back In Time

Maria Bamford's not only one of the funniest stand-up comics working today, she also tends to be more open than most about some of her inner demons, which she always addresses with lightness and frankness. (Which, incidentally, made her appearance on "Louie," as a cold woman Louis C.K. has a one night stand with, all the more funny.)

So when some jerk makes a rude remark to her about her comedy on a live radio show, Maria didn't handle it all that well. But The A.V. Club has given her the chance to go back and do it over, thanks to their new animated web series "Stand Down," where comedians tell harrowing tales from their stand-up careers.
