Embarrassing Dads: Survey Finds 60% Of Kids Think Dads Are 'Lame'

Survey Finds 60% Of Kids Think Dads Are 'Lame'

It is a universal truth that parents will, at some point or another, embarrass their children. But a recent online survey by British company Specsaver found that it's dad -- not mom -- who forces kids to hide their heads in shame most often.

Over 2,000 13- to 21-year-olds were polled and 60 percent said that their dads are "lame." Among the reasons: poor fashion choices and bad haircuts. A spokesperson for Specsaver told The Daily News that he wasn't surprised by the results. “Most of us have been embarrassed by our old man at some point,” he said.

One humiliated teen, Rain Price, would likely agree. His father, Dale was named World's Most Embarrassing Dad after seeing his son off to school in a different costume -- bride, pirate, leprechaun, etc. -- every day for 180 days.
