'World's Wildest Police Videos': Suspect Takes Forklift Over The Hedges And Through The Cemetery (VIDEO)

'World's Wildest Police Videos': Forklift Rides Through A Cemetery

In a move that didn't appear to be all that calculated, a suspect chose to flee from authorities in England by driving a getaway forklift on "World's Wildest Police Videos" (Mon., 10 p.m. ET on Spike). The man was reportedly involved with organized crime, though it wasn't clear how that put him in a forklift.

When he rightly realized there was no way he could outrun police on the road, he took the forklift off-road. First, he took down a fence, and then barreled through a hedge. At this point, he must have been feeling pretty confident that he could outrun them -- despite the fact that there was a helicopter tracking his every move.

Either that, or like most suspects in this case, he knew he was going to get caught but he was just too afraid or stubborn to stop and let it happen. Instead, he took off through a cemetery, which proved to be a critical error.

Smashing through tombstones took out the tires and disabled the forklift. The man was subdued and got to spend several years behind bars.

Come back next Monday for "World's Wildest Police Videos" at 10 p.m. ET on Spike.
