Adrienne Maloof Divorce: 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Star And Paul Nassif Splitting

Victim Of The 'Real Housewives' Divorce Curse?

It's over for "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" stars Adrienne Maloof and Paul Nassif.

According to TMZ, Nassif filed for legal separation from Maloof on Monday, after nine years of marriage and three sons together.

"The welfare of our children is my primary focus as Adrienne and I work through this difficult time," Nassif, a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon, told TMZ. "I want the best for her and our children and I hope that everyone can respect our privacy away from the cameras."

Meanwhile, Maloof, who reportedly knew of her husband's intentions to file beforehand, emailed HuffPost's Rob Shuter about where her priorities lie in the wake of the split. "I am devoted to my children and nothing else is as important as giving them the shelter and care that I have always made my priority!"

Sources told Radar Online that filming the upcoming season of "Housewives" simply took its toll on the couple -- Maloof and Nassif have been featured on the reality hit since 2010.

The couple isn't the first pair whose marriage has fallen apart in the Bravo spotlight. In fact, divorce among stars of the "Housewives" franchise is so prevalent, some have questioned if a "Real Housewives" divorce “curse” might exist.
