'The Brady Bunch' Reboot In The Works From Vince Vaughn

"The Brady Bunch" could be getting a reboot on CBS with Vince Vaughn at the helm, according to

Vaughn is reportedly developing the sitcom reboot with CBS TV Studios and will serve as executive producer. So far the project has a script order, reports. Vaughn is teaming with "Raising Hope" veteran Mike Mariano on the project which would follow a divorced Bobby Brady, with children of his own, who marries a woman, who also has kids from a previous relationship. However, Bobby and his new bride share a child together and their ex-spouses are still in the equation.

This isn't the first time CBS has attempted to reboot a classic series. CBS was looking at a "Bewitched" reboot in 2011 and in 2010, the network had its eye on a "Wild Wild West" reboot from "Battlestar Galactica" mastermind Ron Moore. CBS has had success in redeveloping shows, like "Hawaii Five-0" going into its third season on CBS.

"The Brady Bunch" originally ran from 1969-1974 and has launched several spin-offs and reunion movies. The series has also enjoyed a long life in syndication.
