Jon Cryer On Why He Chose To Put His Hollywood Walk Of Fame Star In Front Of Hooters On 'Conan' (VIDEO)

Why Is Jon Cryer's Star In Front Of Hooters?

When Jon Cryer recently received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, he was able to choose its placement on Hollywood Blvd. So, of course, he chose to put it right in front of the Hooters restaurant there. He explained his sound logic for the decision on "Conan" (Weeknights, 11 p.m. ET on TBS).

"I want people barfing up their hot wings on my star, thank you very much," he joked. On a more serious note, he said it had a lot to do with the stars who would become his sidewalk neighbors.

Cryer's star is surrounded by the likes of Gladys Knight, Sammy Davis Jr., and the Harlem Globetrotters.

Conan O'Brien, though, had a much simpler explanation. "It’s an excuse to go to Hooters, ya know?” he said. And with Cryer's long tenure on "Two and a Half Men," there's a natural association there as well.

"Conan" airs weeknights at 11 p.m. ET on TBS.
