Tired of athletic activities with clear and logical rules and guidelines? How about one with the simplest set of rules on television. Don't "Wipeout!" (Thu., 9 p.m. ET on ABC). Summer's favorite guilty pleasure offered fans a respite from the rigors of the Olympics with some good old-fashioned crashing and splashing.
This week, a contestant dubbed "Middle-Aged Woman" was apparently getting scared of the course before she even entered it. Upon watching some of her fellow contestants hitting hard and wiping out on the very first challenge, she declared, "I’m gonna pee my pants."
Later, she declared that she did, though it was never verified. It didn't matter, though, because that release must have helped her find her mojo. She made it all the way to the final obstacle, before the course ultimately took her out.
Good thing there's a lot of water on hand. If she did pee herself and then take to the course, they're probably going to want to at least hose it down.
